During my time living in Germany, I had the privilege of photographing for various clients in and around Ramstein Air Force Base, including the Kisling NCO academy and the Professional Military Education for DoD and NATO warfighters across Europe and Africa. I also had the opportunity to witness the “Fini” Flights tradition, where military aviators are hosed down with water upon completing their final flight or retiring, a practice that dates to World War II. I captured the elegance and tradition of many military balls held at Ramstein AFB, and felt honored to contribute to the legacy of the United States
